Ingredients:
Lamb mince/Kheema (extremely fine) - 500gms
Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1tsp
Nutmeg powder - 1/2 tsp
Onions (finely chopped) - 2 nos.
Fresh green coriander (finely chopped) - 2tbsp
Salt to taste
Butter for basting
Method:
1.) Wash the mince well. Strain the mince thoroughly until it is completely dry.
2.) In a mixing bowl, take the mince and add to it all the above ingredients except for butter and mix well. Stand this mixture for about an hour.
3.) Divide the mixture into equal portions and wrap it around a hot skewer carefully. The skewer has to be hot as the mince will stick immediately to it.
4.) Now place the skewers in the oven at 200°C and occasionally baste with butter.
5.) Rotate the skewers so that the kebabs are cooked evenly on all sides. Cook until mince is done.
6.) Slide off the kebabs from the skewers into a plate and serve hot sprinkled with lemon juice and accompanied by mint chutney.
