The most awaited moment for the seafood giants in Newport has arrived. It is the Newport Seafood & Wine Festival. Since 1978 Newport Seafood & Wine Festival has marked the arrival of winter for the food and wine lovers around the world to the central Oregon coast.

As the excitement with seafood and good wine attracts many, the 2005 Newport Seafood & Wine Festival Commercial Wine Competition award has been the sole aim of winers. From 134 entries, 66 medals were awarded - 13 Gold, 23 Silver and 30 Bronze. This year Springhill Cellars took the Gold medal ,for a 2001 Pinot Noir Reserve (Willamette Valley).

So guys after wine and turkey in Christmas, you can add to your festive experiences with wine and seafood at the Newport Seafood & Wine Festival from, Feb,24th 2006 to Feb,26th 2006.
