The addition of the humble green pea adds flavor to many dishes. But it also stands as the main ingredient in one of the Veggie delights. The recipe is as follows:



Ingredients



Boiled Green Peas

Heavy Cream

Crushed Garlic

Chopped Onions

Chopped Basil

Chopped Cilantro

Black Pepper

Powdered Cinnamon

Butter

Salt



Method



1. In a skillet fry onions and garlic until golden brown.



2. Add peas and fry for some more time.



3. In a non-stick pan melt butter add flour and all the seasonings.



4. Once the flour starts changing color. Put off the fire and add cream and herbs.



5. Blend the white sauce thoroughly so that no lumps are formed.



6. Add the peas to the cream sauce and set it back on fire.



7. Cook until the sauce simmers.



8. Garnish it with hard boiled eggs or baby potatoes and serve with pasta or noodles.
